Interactive Menu

This was a project I started during my third semester at SAIT. I was trying to create a full flash site for my portfolio but soon realized that it probably wasn't the best way of displaying my work, so this menu was scrapped. I was looking through my work the other day and stumbled on this half finished project, I thought it would be fun to continue so I added some more elements (like the left menu), cleaned up the code and added some color to it. Here is the prototype:
